Together with St. Patrick's & Halloween Australia Day has been one of the most important dates on our annual party calendar!!! Indeed, we have never missed the occasion to pay some credit and attention to our friends from The Land Down Under, known as probably the biggest party animals in the world! Or at least when they come to Rome they always stand up to their party reputation! So, when in Rome on January 26th (Australia Day) you have to do it as the Australians do it. Now you will probably ask yourselves what exactly happened on January 26th that the Aussies need to celebrate in this loud and glamourous fashion but that is why there is wikipedia and here is not the right spot to talk about it!

In any case, we will be sticking to the tradition from our parties in the previous years and during the Happy Hour at Highlander the VEGEMITE sandwiches will be a must! No doubt that Aussies will be tons but everyone else is invited and if you join our party wearing or bringing any Aussie symbol you will be granted with an extra shot of choice!

Shots of choice at Highlander will be getting all of you who book upfront! Bookings are a very smart idea not only for the extra shots but just to secure your spots. We have been breaking all kinds of records in the previous years and being on the list will guarantee your VIP entry - skip the tedious sign up line! You will completely avoid that drama if you purchase your tickets in advance - from our office in Via Dei Serpenti 89 or directly from Highlander Pub in Vicolo di San Biagio 9! Bear in mind that at Highlander we accept credit cards as well. Getting tickets from our office though, will allow you to collect your special OZ day t-shirts upfront too!

Otherwise, we have lined up the usual material benefits for you - Happy Hour - pizza, beer & wine unlimited for 1 hour from 9 until 10 pm. There will be another bar on the road with a shot at the door and then we will complete the venue at a pumping club (as of now we will keep the name of the club a secret but we will post it on the actual OZ day to complete the stunning surprise). The admission at the club is included in the total price of 25 Euro to join the bash! Those of you who might be running late and skip the open bar can still join us if we have the space available any time after 10:30 pm - the price to join us later upon availability will be 15 Euro per person and that includes a drink and a t-shirt.
